Happy New Year and welcome to another exciting school year at Spreckels Elementary!

 

As your new principal, I am honored and excited to begin this journey with all of you. Whether you're returning to our school community or joining us for the first time, I extend a warm and heartfelt welcome. I am proud to be returning for my second year as principal, and I look forward to continuing our tradition of excellence—together.

 

At Spreckels, students are at the heart of everything we do. Our mission is to meet the unique needs of every learner and help each child reach their full potential. Our dedicated and talented staff works hard to create an engaging, inclusive, and challenging learning environment that inspires curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

 

We also recognize that a child’s success is built on strong partnerships between home and school. When parents and educators work together, students thrive. Your involvement—whether through volunteering, attending events, joining conferences, or simply staying connected—makes a meaningful difference. Thank you for modeling the importance of education and supporting high standards for behavior and achievement.

 

This year, we are excited to continue building a positive and respectful school culture. Our school-wide expectations—Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe—are the foundation of a caring community. Each month, we focus on a character trait that helps students grow not only academically, but socially and emotionally as well.

We’re grateful for the strong support of our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) and Educational Foundation, both of which play a vital role in enriching our school programs. Volunteers are always welcome—we love seeing families in classrooms and around campus!
