Principal's Message
Welcome to Buena Vista Middle School!
Buena Vista is located just off of River Road in the Las Palmas subdivision. We are a small school of around 360 students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. Opened in 1998, it is the only middle school in the Spreckels Union School District.
Buena Vista is committed to providing all students with a challenging and engaging curriculum that allows them to excel in future endeavors. All core classes are additionally aligned to the Common Core State Standards. Our Bobcats strive to demonstrate their Bobcat Beliefs on a daily basis: Respect, Responsibility and a Readiness to Learn.
Additionally, we encourage all students to take part in a variety of learning experiences and extracurricular activities outside of the academic day. These activities include band, choir, sports, and clubs.
The Buena Vista staff works in partnership with our parents and community to ensure that our graduates are prepared for high school and beyond. We appreciate the support of our community!
