Social Emotional Support
SUSD recognizes the link between student health and learning and is committed to providing a comprehensive program to promote healthy eating and physical activity in District students. The District’s Wellness Council, made up of staff, parents, and community members, meets regularly to make recommendations about nutrition, physical activity, and other wellness activities.

- The Kinship Center operates a Monterey County Mobile crisis team. This team of mental health professionals provides same day crisis intervention to youth experiencing an immediate crisis. The program provides services to low-income and at-risk community members. The team also has a 24-hour support line manage by a Kinship Center employee that youth and family can access 7 days a week.
