2026-27 Parent Data Confirmation - Including Income Verification & Transportation Requests

Posted Date: 08/05/26 (07:42 AM)

Dear Spreckels Union School District (SUSD) Parents and Guardians:

It’s that time of year to complete the Annual Parent Data Confirmation. The completion of this process confirms your child’s enrollment for the 2026-27 school year, and is required for all families.

Please follow the link and log into your Aeries parent portal to complete this process. See attached for additional instructions if needed.

School meals continue to be free for all students — that won't change! But completing the Household Income Form takes just a few minutes and makes a big impact:

  •  Supports state & federal funding for teachers, technology, and student programs

  •  May qualify your family for discounted home internet

  •  Keeps school meals free for every student

  •  Helps you sign up for bus transportation (and check if you qualify for free rides)

  •  More forms = more funding for all our students

Even if you don't think you'll qualify, every form helps us ensure that we are maximizing our ability to bring more resources to our schools!

The link to the electronic income application is available in the Aeries parent portal and is required for all families. This universal form is used to request transportation for the school year.

Transportation fees are available on the District Website.  Please note that your application will be reviewed, and you will receive confirmation if we can accommodate your child(ren). Due to our driver shortage, we ask that you complete these forms promptly.

The bus routes will be updated and available on the District Website next week. If your child plans to ride the bus this year, please review with them the bus rules that can be found in the bus handbook (in the Aeries portal via the link above).

For further information about the food service program, please contact Suzie Saavedra at Spreckels School at 831-455-1831 x 128 or Karie Gomez at Buena Vista Middle School at  831-455-8936 x 203. For information about the transportation program, please contact Heather Brodehl at the District Office: 831-455-2550 x 314.

We are very excited to have all students return to school on Wednesday, August 12th. We wish them all a happy and healthy 2026-27.
