New Spreckels Elementary TK Playground!

The Spreckels Facility team is working hard to get our campuses ready for the start of the new school year. One area of focus has been the Transitional Kindergarten (TK) compound. We are thrilled to celebrate the installation of our new TK playground! Designed specifically for our youngest learners, this space gives students a safe and engaging place to play, explore, build friendships, and develop important physical and social skills. It is a wonderful addition to our TK program and reflects our commitment to creating joyful, age-appropriate learning environments for every child. This adds to the large sandbox and outdoor chalkboard that were added this past school year. Still to come are the addition of an additional classroom and new, age appropriate lunch tables.

The TK playground was made possible through a combination of the district's LCFF revenue Transitional Kindergarten Add-on and a generous contribution for the Spreckels Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). This type of cooperation is what makes Spreckels Union School District such a magical place for our students!
